Anonymous asked: what you like the most about Junhyung?

His artistic value. He produces, composes, raps, sings … the whole shabang, and does it really well.

He also wins big for turning me into a fan from a non-fan. You’ll know this if you’ve read any of my really old BEAST reviews, where I trash him hard … dark times.

Anonymous asked: Just for kicks, let's be superficially-minded for a while. If you could place the boys of B2ST in order from hottest to hot, how would you rank? I think I know who number one will be, but still. For me, 1. Doojoon(flawless), 2. Hyunseung(Troublemaker was enough for me to bump him up) 3. Dongwoon, 4. Yoseob, 5. Junhyung, 6. Kikwang ( I can't deny he's seduce as fuck, but his blackface incident was too much). Okay, what about you?

Dongwoon, obviously, is No.1. Then, Kikwang, who is juicy as fuck these days, followed by the beautiful Hyunseung. Doo Joon is in 4th place, with Junhyung trailing behind at a solid 5th. Last would undeniably have to be Yoseob. If we’re strictly talking ‘hottness,’ he wouldn’t even be in the running for me.

Anonymous asked: I get the idea that you ain't a fan of Junhyung and his role as a rapper in BEAST from your previous BEAST album reviews~ What do you think of Junhyung as a rapper now? Have he improved and changed your opinions about him being "Really, I don’t like that guy and I would prefer he be absent in their songs, if not entirely removed. It’s just that he reminds me too much of HyunA and her toxic role in 4Minute. He’s a male copy, basically." from your Mastermind review~ :)

I feel like I answered this before, but my stance on Junhyung has definitely changed. I’m far more appreciative of him now. His position as rapper and composer, producer, singer-songwriter has elevated my respect for him, and he’s learned how to flow within a beast song without sounding intrusive. His talent as a rapper is up for everyone to interpret; for me personally I’ve gotten used to him moreso than simply liking his rap.

Anonymous asked: Is Beast;s Junhyung style in rapping too similar to GD?

I … don’t know/don’t think so.

I can tell them apart, so I can’t say that I agree.

[Review][Single] BEAST’s Junhyung – “Living Without You”

Of all the members in BEAST, I have been least opinionated about rapper Junhyung. For whatever reason, he’s never left much of an impression on me, or at least he didn’t used to during BEAST’s humble beginnings. Now though, I’ve turned a new leaf and I’m finding myself incredibly drawn to Junhyung, not on his looks (though he’s alright looking), but on the fact that he’s contributed a shit ton to BEAST’s musical development and style.

Aside from being a rapper, Junhyung is also a singer-songwriter, composer, and producer. That’s pretty gangsta, and that’s pretty gangsta of BEAST to possess such a skilled member in their camp. BEAST could almost function on their own if they were allowed to, and that’s an exciting thing to envision.
